Captain Richard Rutland, a Mobile, Alabama native, has spent over 15 years fishing the local waters of Mobile Bay. After serving four years in the US Navy, he returned to Mobile to fulfill his dream of becoming a charter captain. Captain Richard is committed to ensuring your fishing trip is both fun and safe. He is passionate about Angler Education, frequently giving seminars and seizing every opportunity to teach others something new.
In addition to his charter work, Captain Richard is a member of the Cold Blooded Finatics Fishing Team. Alongside Captain Chad Palmer, he competes in the IFA and the Louisiana Saltwater Series professional fishing circuits. His involvement in these organizations underscores his dedication to preserving all fish species, and he actively collaborates with local groups to support conservation efforts.
